Who is sitting behind the wheel?

Hey ya’ll my name is Rachel a.k.a Baby Cakes

I have had a love for cooking since I was a young girl. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando I set out to find my place in the culinary world. I have worked for many wonderful chefs in my many years in the kitchen and have learned some amazing things. The one thing that each kitchen has had in common is I would always end up being the “dessert girl” or the “pastry chef”. When I got my degree in culinary arts, I wanted to be able to walk into a kitchen and handle any station that was thrown at me. But for one reason or another it always came back to desserts. I taught myself how to work with and decorate cakes, cupcakes, and many other types of desserts and very soon something that seemed to be a curse became my passion. I love to test the boundaries of just how far I can take flavors, but at the same time respecting the simple classics. I feel at home in the kitchen and I love the look on peoples faces when they take that first bite and smile.

My other love is everything vintage from my classic 66 Mustang (Sally), my 86 Ford Bronco (ToTo), to my style in clothing.  So when I thought about doing a food truck a vintage camper was the first thing that came to mind. My camper (Dorothy) is a 1963 Scotty Sportsman and she’s as sweet as the cupcakes sold inside. We have turned her into one lean, mean, cupcake machine. I hope you fall in love with her just like I did. So, step right up and pick something sweet…

~~Happy Campers are always welcome~~
